Membership of Tees Valley Law Society offers opportunities whether you are a qualified solicitor or other legal professional, or you are in the early stages of training.

Virtual Statutory Declarations

COVID-19 has created uncertainty over whether statutory declarations in insolvency proceedings could still safely be made and administered in person and whether, as an alternative, the process could validly be completed remotely using real-time video conference technology. To address this issue the Law Society, with the support of Lexis Nexis, has designed a protocol for virtual statutory declarations relevant for insolvency proceedings.
