Law Society Library Wins Award

Law Society Library Wins Award

The Law Society library has won the 2017 LexisLibrary award for Best Legal Information Service (non-commercial). The award is open to the academic sector, government libraries and special legal libraries/information services. The award recognises, celebrates and rewards dedicated performance and outstanding services.

The Society's library service has been supporting members of many years, and has attracted consistently positive feedback from across the legal profession, from small firms to large. The library won the award for the excellent customer-focused enquiry service, and was also praised for its efficiency and speed in dealing with those enquiries.

Speaking of the award, library services manager Michael Maher said We are thrilled to have been recognised externally for the work we do. The team really deserve it for the great service that they provide and I'm really proud of them all.

The library deals with legal information enquiries and document delivery requests from solicitors and their staff. More information about the enquiry service can be found here. You can email the library at library@lawsociety.org.uk or call them on 0207 320 5946.
